The Symposium. Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream……….

The Awakening the Dreamer Changing The Dream Symposium was held at Chell’s home on Sunday 22nd August.  It was a joint event between LETS, Transition Town Maroondah and members of the local community.  Our own Jane Monk and Neil Mitchell were the facilitators and did a wonderful job.

The message was quite simple.  The symposium was committed to bringing forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling and socially just human presence on this planet.  We got to create the most amazing possibilities to make this commitment happen.  We were also fortunate to have 3 year 10 students from Mill Park Secondary College and their inspirational teacher taking part on the day and it was such a joy to hear how active these students are in the area of sustainability.  I may have witnessed some of tomorrow’s leaders.
