Eighteen members attended the Eastern Suburbs Warranwood LETS Annual General Meeting held at Rosemary Johnson’s home on Saturday 31
The meeting kicked off with a fascinating and thought provoking talk from Jane Monk about Transition Towns and sustainable living
Thanks go to Jane for her contribution.
The meeting then discussed the following:
- Networking afternoons. These are proving to be increasingly popular and we will see these happening every 2 months in the future. Watch out for future dates in the newsletters!Membership fees are to remain the same i.e. $20 or $10 concession. The equivalency rate is to change to 60 tokens = $24 = 1 hour. This will bring the equivalency rate into line with the conversion rates calculated and used by the CES for intergroup trading. 1 token = 40 cents and $1 = 2.5 tokens.
The administration group was elected.
At the close of meeting we enjoyed sharing some tasty soups with crusty bread followed by an array or scrumptious desserts and cakes!
